Who we are
ThinkWork Inc. (“ThinkWork”, “we”, “us”) builds and maintains ThinkWork Brain, an enterprise knowledge and operational-data platform, together with its web application, mobile companion (ThinkWork Mobile), agent tools, and cloud infrastructure. ThinkWork is deployed per organization — each customer's environment runs in its own cloud account, and your employer (or the organization that invited you) is the operator of the environment you sign in to.
This policy explains what we collect through our products and websites, how it is used, and the choices you have. Where your organization operates its own ThinkWork environment, your organization is the data controller for the content inside it and this policy applies alongside your organization's own policies.
What we collect
Account information. Your name, work email address, and an account identifier, provided when your organization provisions your account or when you sign in with your work email, Google, or Microsoft account.
Connected business data. Your organization configures which business records, documents and knowledge sources are brought into its ThinkWork environment. Access to those sources is arranged with your organization.
Website enquiries. If you contact us by email, we receive the contact details and message you choose to send. The website links to your email app; it does not submit an enquiry form.
Content you create. Messages you send to your organization's agent, threads, work items, and files or photos you choose to attach. This content is stored in your organization's ThinkWork environment so your conversations stay in sync across devices.
Usage and cost records. Operational records of agent activity — such as token counts and per-model cost — used to show account usage and enforce budgets your organization sets.
Device permissions. The mobile app requests camera access only to scan a setup QR code, and photo, microphone, and speech-recognition access only when you choose to attach media or dictate a message. These permissions are optional and used solely for the feature you invoked.
What we don't do
We do not sell personal information. We do not show advertising, use your data for advertising, or share it with data brokers. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. Our apps contain no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
How your data is used
Data collected by ThinkWork is used to operate the product: authenticating you, syncing your threads and work items, running the agent you ask to do work, showing usage and cost, securing the service, and providing support. Agent requests are processed by foundation models run through your environment's cloud provider (for example, AWS Bedrock); prompts and outputs are not used to train those models.
Where it lives and how it's protected
Each ThinkWork environment runs in a dedicated cloud account (typically your organization's own AWS account). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest using the cloud provider's managed encryption. Access to production environments is limited to the operator of that environment.
Retention and deletion
Content and account records are retained as long as your organization keeps its environment and your account active. Your organization's administrators can remove members and delete content; when an environment is destroyed, its data is deleted with it. To exercise access or deletion rights, contact your organization's administrator, or reach us directly and we will route the request to the right operator.
Children
ThinkWork is a workplace product for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Continued use of the product after a change takes effect means the updated policy applies.
